December 20, the social presentation of “The Snow Queen” has taken place.

Thanks to the continuous cooperation of Kherson Women Union and Pole dance and sport studio "KOSMOS by Kostrikova pole", which created this incredibly beautiful show, more than 300 wards of the Union have been invited for the premiere, namely: pupils of Syvash General Secondary School of I-III levels No.2, Chornobaivka General Secondary Boarding School of I-III levels of sanatorium type of Kherson Regional Council, Public Institution “Oleshky Special General Secondary School of I-III levels of Kherson Regional Council”, pupils of Oleshky Boarding Orphanage, the Matliak foster family from Velyka Oleksandrivka district and family-type orphanage of the Rudenko family, pupils of Kherson Regional Center of Comprehensive Rehabilitation of children with disabilities, GO “Koni dobra”, GO “Zacharovani dity Khersonshchyny” etc.

Recognizing that those were children who organized a holiday for the children made our skin crawl. Every movement on the stage, carefully chosen words of the author from the first seconds gripped the attention of the audience. It seemed that the young actors had no age, they were so skillful at practicing poles, performed intricate acrobatic performances, and danced alongside senior, more experienced masters.

Like in the story of Hans Christian Andersen, Gerda without hesitation rushed into the Kingdom of the Snow Queen to save Kai. She overcame various difficulties, met on her way both good and evil heroes, but all of them, in the end, showed her the right path.

“How scary! ...” somebody whispered nearby when the long-awaited moment of meeting Gerda and the Snow Queen came. The good and the evil, the family warmth and the cold loneliness faced off at this moment ...

Love has won, as the city of happy people has managed to accept the Snow Queen. She finally had got a family and her heart had melted!

The "Snow Queen" was a beautiful completion of this year's social project “I am Saint Nicholas”-2019.

This year Kherson Women Union has managed to cover with its project over 700 children: 247 children wrote letters to Saint Nicholas and their dreams have been fulfilled, more than 200 children have attended the meeting of the project participants of previous years, held at “Fabrika”, and at present - more than 300 children have become witnesses of a bright new year.

We are grateful to the pole dance and sport studio “KOSMOS by Kostrikova pole” for the already established good tradition - to give the residents of Kherson Oblast a fairy tale of a high professionalism, and most of all - for every opportunity to invite the children, for whom this fairy tale has given an impression for the whole year!
