On 19 November 2019 at the International Women’s Forum “Women of Ukraine” that took place in Odessa, Head of Kherson Women Union Iryna Nikolayeva was awarded the title of the Regional Peace Ambassador of WED OON.

The same awards were received by several active heads of the regional women unions. As the Head of Ukraine Women’s Union Leokadia Herasymenko stated it was a remarkable event for the whole union of the state’s women:

“It is of great importance for us that the representatives of the local women unions have received the titles of the Regional Peace Ambassadors of WED OON today. As such kind of events unite the women leaders and make us determined and confident”, she emphasized.

The International Women Forum was marked by the affiliation of the women leaders of Ukraine to the International Movement “Woman’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED)”.

As the Peace Ambassador from the Woman’s Entrepreneurship WED OON Olga Azarova stated the fact of the alliance of the active Ukrainian women with the representatives with the leading foreign companies had a special importance for the whole Ukraine:

“I am greatly comforted with the fact that there are more and more of us! It’s a historically significant event that will become a starting point in the integration and cooperation of the Ukrainian Women with the foreign organizations. Your 2020 under the aegis WED OON will be filled with great sense and grand projects!", noted Olha Azarova on her page in the social network.

The event was held with the participation of the authorized international organizations that are interested in the inter-state development of the economic relations.
