Kherson Women Union has been implementing the social project “I-Saint Nicholas” for two years. During this time, we have presented a fairy tale to more than 500 children from Kherson Oblast. And now preparations are starting again. Conditions and details of this year participation in the kindest action of the year will be available on our site since 10 November 2019.

Traditionally the social project “I – Saint Nicholas” is created by Kherson folks that turn to the magicians for the boarders of the residential orphan establishments by making their dreams to come true.

The gift givers are usually so grasped by the life stories of the children that go together with us to present gifts personally.

From dolls and toy cars to winter footwear and warm coats. These are the dreams of those children, who are looking forward to Saint Nicholas. And thanks to the consolidation of all efforts we manage to fulfill totally all dreams.

Also, the Union was lucky to renew the tradition of letter writing, where small dreamers write letters about their cherished dreams to Saint Nicholas.

This year the WOW moment of the project will be the possibility to get acquainted children from different residential orphan establishments for them to befriend and to become e-pals.

Last year the work of project locations created by partners was implemented (in car showrooms, beauty salons, shopping and entertainment centers), where all concerned could choose the child’s dream and make it come true. The list of this year partners’ locations will be available soon.

Dear Gift Givers, we are looking forward to meeting you! We will read anxiously the children’s letters and gather presents in our residence of Saint Nicholas that is located in the office of the Union very soon now.

But what’s most important – “I – Saint Nicholas!” is the original bridge of trust and harmony due to which children and adults are convinced that miracles really exist!
