This year birthday of the Chief Oblast Union’s member – Iryna Nikolayeva – started with a good tradition to get together active and willful women of Kherson and Kherson Oblast for “Charity morning”. The charitable aim of this festive morning was more than deep – to raise funds for needs of Kherson Child Guidance and Family Counseling Center.

On 26 July the Team of Kherson Women Union together with its Head Iryna Nikolayeva visited Child Guidance and Family Counseling Center to pass the necessary items to mothers with babies: clothes, food, personal-care products, diapers and bed-linen.

It is hard to believe, but the Union members managed “to close” all positions, as those who didn’t visit the charitable morning, looked for the Union’s office to pass the necessary items. More than 20 active women responded to our call for help.

We thank everyone who answered the call, you are unbelievable!

By the way, this visit was a remarkable one. The Union members not only got acquainted with “newcomers” in the Center, looked over the rooms, but shared happiness of those mothers, to whom the Center has already helped and they have started new stage of their lives beyond its limits.

Having nursed the babies for a while and having spoken to mothers, we became even closer. That’s why we are going to pay our attention and care again and again.
