Starting from the middle of November, we gathered more than 300 letters from the boarders of the boarding institutions of Kherson and Kherson Oblast, addressed to St. Nickolas in which they described themselves and their good deeds, and also shared their dearest wishes that only St. Nickolas the Wonderworker can turn into reality. And would you like to become St. Nickolas? Making the wonderful tale and New Year wonder come true is tirelessly being performed by members of KWU- assistants of Saint Nickolas and active Kherson folks and Facebook users.

"I – Saint Nickolas” 2018 –miracle doubles goodness

Unbelievably kind and open project “I-Saint Nickolas” that was founded by Kherson Women Union in 2017, has become very popular in our region, as it was for the first time that all concerned Kherson folks were united through the social nets and let the dreams of all (!) children-participants came true. Now “I – Saint Nickolas” opens its new page – gathering of presents for the Day of Saint Nickolas in 2018.

Hard and routine work on letters to Nickolas the Wonderworker processing, systematization of the list of children’s dreams and a-24-hour-a- day job on adding/complementing /clarification has already given its results – 306 young dreamers have already opened their hearts to kind Saint and behave themselves, for him not to bypass them.

Boarders of Stara Zburiivka Special Boarding School, Stara Zburiivka Sanatory Boarding school and Sivash Special Boarding School have managed to touch the real miracle this year. Mainly these children wrote their letters not just about presents in their letters, but also stories about themselves, own good deeds and sincere hopes for goodness implementation and support of their near and dear ones. Especial trembling was caused by wishes addressed to Nickolas the Wonderworker. Children wish “goodness”, “strength” and “good health” to him.

What Do Children Dream About?

Children at the boarding institutions are just like those, who live together with parents. They also dream about dolls, toy cars, construction sets, acoustics, bows, hairpins, felt-tips, perfumes and some new “whizzers” beyblades. This is an electronic table that is available to everyone concerned, just like last year. If you would like to present a miracle to children, that really need it – choose the free listing and join the team of Saint Nickolas assistants!

It’s easy to become a presenter: instruction

• Remember first name, age and numerical order of the child, whose dream you would like to fulfill - we don’t give surnames and their place of origin for ethical reasons.
• Dreams that have already been chosen for fulfillment are marked with green color and corresponding status – please, choose the listings that haven’t found their Nickolas.
• Children dreams fulfilled (presents, clothes, toys) should obligatory be new!
• We would like to ask not to wrap a present (you can bring it in a holiday packet), for Nickolas’ assistants to be able to check each present, add other items and to sign it in a proper way.
• Presents are collected till December 14th, 2018 at the address: 17, Bogorodytska Street, office 427, Kherson. Also collection center is open on the grounds of Plant of Original Presents “Design”:
• 66, Mariinska Street, Skadovsk
• Everyone who wishes to do so can take a nice festive photo at our Saint Nickolas’ workshop to save this moment of goodness and feel the wonderful holiday approaching!

Look around! Saint Nickolas is near!

Locations of the project “I – Saint Nickolas” will operate for the first time at our committed partners for the convenience of presents purchase. Mainly here everyone concerned can choose a child’s wish and buy it right ahead for the named child. You will need to choose the present and transfer money to the bank account or pay the cash there and then. Logistics of order delivery to our office will be organized by our partners.

By the way, our first location “I – Saint Nickolas” has started to operate on the territory of Nissan Center “Avtograd Kherson” (41, Seniavina Avenue, Kherson). So, our Dear Presenters, you are welcome to visit it!

Nickolas has an eye “his” own ones

Last year we managed to fulfill the dreams of the boarders of Novokyivka Special Boarding School, Orphanage of Boarding Type “Radist”, Kakhovka and Nova Kakhovka Boarding School, boarders of Center supporting families that bring up children with disabilities “SOPHIA”.

This year we have decided to present them an unforgettable run of the contemporary dancing and acrobatic show for children and adults “It was probably for real?”, that was inspired by the fairy tale of E.T.A. Hoffmann “The Nutcracker”. More than 100 children will receive their invitations for the show of the New Year tale in the nearest future!

New Year mood is not only lights in shop-windows, Christmas tree, tangerine smell and bright advertisement of fizzy water. New Year mood is created by us: presents to relatives, inner expectation of wonder and fairy tale, which we can turn into reality ourselves.
